Caravan Rental Terms & Conditions

 

Seal Bay, Selsey (PO20 9EL)

 

 

1. Booking & Payments

• A £200 payment is required at the time of booking to secure your dates.

• This payment acts as a combined booking deposit and security deposit.

• The remaining balance of your holiday must be paid in full no later than 4 weeks (28 days) before your arrival date.

• If your booking is made within 4 weeks of your stay, the full holiday cost is due immediately, plus the £200 deposit.

 

 

2. Security Deposit (£200)

• The £200 paid at booking includes a security deposit element, which is refundable after your stay.

• This will be returned once the caravan has been cleaned and inspected.

• The deposit may be partially or fully retained in the event of:

• Damage to the caravan, fixtures, or furnishings

• Missing items

• Excessive cleaning required

• Breach of these terms

• Refunds are typically processed within 3–5 days after departure, subject to inspection.

 

 

3. Cancellations

• The booking deposit is non-refundable. Dates once confirmed cannot be moved due to other bookings - to secure a new date a new £200 deposit will be required. 

• If cancelled within 4 weeks of arrival, the full balance remains payable unless the dates can be rebooked.

• We will always try to re-let your dates where possible.

4. Check-In & Check-Out

• Check-in: From 3:00 PM

• Check-out: By 10:00 AM

• Guests must allow access for cleaning and leave promptly at check-out time.

 

5. Use of the Caravan

• This is a privately owned, family-used caravan, and we ask that it is treated with respect at all times.

• Guests agree:

• No smoking inside the caravan or on the decking

• No drugs or illegal substances

• No pets

• No parties or disruptive behaviour

• No subletting

• The lead guest must be 18+ and is responsible for all members of the party.

 

 

6. Damage, Breakages & Loss

• Guests are responsible for any damage, breakages, or loss of items during their stay.

• Any issues must be reported within 2 hours of arrival.

• Failure to report may result in charges being applied.

• Costs for repair, replacement, or additional cleaning will be deducted from the security deposit or invoiced if exceeding £200.

 

7. Cleaning & Condition

• The caravan is cleaned by a professional cleaning company between stays.

• Guests must leave the caravan in a reasonable condition, including:

• Washing up

• Removing rubbish

• Leaving furniture as found

• Excessive mess may result in additional cleaning charges.

 

 

8. Entertainment Passes

• Entertainment passes are NOT included in your stay.

• These must be purchased separately via:

• The Cove Connect App (available on the App Store)

• Or directly through the Seal Bay resort

• Prices are set by the resort and are subject to change.

 

9. Included Essentials

• Basic essentials are provided for your convenience, including:

• Cleaning products

• Cloths

• Tea & coffee

• These are complimentary — please use respectfully.

 

10. Liability

• The owners are not liable for:

• Injury, loss, or damage to guests or personal belongings

• Issues beyond our control (e.g. weather, site facilities, park closures)

• Guests use the property and site facilities at their own risk.

11. Right to Refuse / Terminate Stay

• We reserve the right to terminate your stay without refund if:

• These terms are breached

• Behaviour is deemed unsafe, illegal, or disruptive

 

 

12. Agreement

 

By booking and staying at The Glam Beach House, you confirm that:

• You have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions

• You accept responsibility for your party

• You agree to all payment and deposit conditions
